Overview
Electrical and Electronics Engineering students are trained as professional engineers, experienced in he fields of electrical, electronics, monitoring and communication. The department provides English medium education. The microprocessor and physics laboratories differentiate the programme from other similar courses in the same field. Experiments can be carried out in circuit analysis, as well as in analogue and digital electronics.
Programme structure
Courses include the basic theories of mathematics and physics, basic electronics, computer literacy, circuit analysis, as well as courses in the use of signal operating software package, C, C++, and Java. The course options provide students with a superior edge
when entering the job market.
Career opportunities
Graduates can work as electrical and electronics engineers in the fields of communication and computing, in businesses which develop information services and information technologies, in the electricity generating industry, in alternative energy projects, in the defence industry, in firms producing durable goods and machinery, in the Turkish Electricity Board (TEİAŞ) and in affiliated distribution companies. They can also establish their own companies or work in existing companies, restoring devices used in computer networks.
