Overview
There is a premise that the three basic competencies of an economist should be perception, imagination, and reasoning. These abilities ensure that an economist can both produce knowledge, as well as apply Knowledge. This Master programme in Economics aims to provide students with a strong theoretical basis to be able to analyse current economic events, monitor inflation rate variations, economic growth and development, as well as economic integration and globalization. It is designed to provide students with the tools necessary to conduct operational research in econometrics using modern methodologies. It also enables them to predict impending economic crises by applying modern techniques and theories.
Programme structure
The track with thesis includes 3 compulsory courses, 4 elective courses, a seminar course and the thesis. The degree is awarded upon the successful completion of 120 ECTS worth of coursework including the thesis with a Cummulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 2.70/4.00.
Career opportunities
