Portfolio of previous design works or performances
This multi-disciplinary program aims to provide students with specialization in art and design covering theoretical research and application. Among the fields of specialization are graphic arts (printing), illustration, typography, branding, package design, interactive design, music theory, musical performance, film design, film music, film analyze, film theories, video art and installations well as contemporary art practices and contemporary art theories.
Students are allowed to choose courses according to the area in which they wish to specialize including courses from different programmes such as Communication and Graphic Design master’s programmes if there are available courses.
The programme consists of different modules with compulsory and elective courses. To specify a module in the graduation certificate, a student 4 has to choose at least four of those courses. The total number of the courses are minimum 8, plus a seminar and thesis. Master in Art and Design is awarded to students who have scored Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.00/4.00 and have completed all the courses (120 ECTS).
The graduates of the program become better equipped with knowledge and competence in a certain subject of art and design. This provides students a better employment opportunity than graduates of the undergraduate degree. Students have a wide range of opportunities in the field of arts in general, graphic design, film design, industrial design, animation and different fields of music.
